Note from Ed Southwick 130208 2 types of Spreadsheets: Full - all data from all sources dumped raw into the file (you will need to convert this all into the same format/datum later) Simplified - shows benchmark PIDs and dates, and only showing whether or not the BM was occupied/measured to. Notes on Full sheets: All data entered into spreadsheets is dumped raw into place. Benchmarks have elevation relative to some datum, plus some have elevation relative to other benchmarks. These are listed on the left column. Data taken from the NGS long line surveys are dumped into the files as well. !! They follow an overriding format !! They are (most likely) metric and use a different datum. They each have 2 numbers, in each of the "main" elevation rows for the given benchmark is the main elevation given on the long line surveys. the row immediately under the "main" elevation is for the ortho[gonal?] heights. these values DO NOT correspond to the left column that may indicate elevation relative to another benchmark. !! I don't know the current conversion, or else it would have already been done. good luck! Notes on Simplified sheets: I list whether or not I have personally found the benchmarks. Some are known to be destroyed. PIDs hilighted in yellow are BMs with a fleshed out record to refer to. BM occupations hilighted in cyan show when it was the primary benchmark
